Well its Saturday and today we left for Guatemala at 5:30am. Everthing was going great until we got close to Houston. There were bad storms so they could not land on time. They took us to the South and then headed back up to Houston to avoid the storms. We only had an hour time to change planes which was on the other side of the airport in the International terminal. The flight attendant did not think we would make our flight. Well God was watching out for us that day, we made our flight and landed in Guatemala safe and ontime. Our driver picked us up and we headed to Antigua. They are all crazy drivers. Jacob asked what alto meant and our driver told him it is their stop sign. Jacob said how come they don't stop, the driver Edwin said it is just a suggestion. We stayed at Porto Hotel Antigua which was beautiful. Jacob of course loved the swimming pool. He met a girl named Molly from Chicago who he played with for awile. We did alot of walking on all those cobble stone roads. We saw two big volcanoes Agua and Fiago.

The streets were very busy. Sunday morning our driver came back and gave us a tour. We first stopped at the Jade factory. They gave us a tour of the factory, museum and of course then we bought some Jade. Next stop we went to look for a Harley Davidson shirt. Found a knock off and bought it. Then we went to the market for gifts. I am glad we had our driver/translater with us. That was quite an experience. Jacob thought it was funny kids younger than him would ask him "Mister how much you pay". We stopped at McDonalds and then off to the Westin. Checked in at the Westin which is beautiful. Tomorrows the big day.

Worth the Wait!!
